Local Bookshops

The Centre:MK, 3AH, 51-53 Silbury Blvd, Milton Keynes MK9 3AG, UK – 01908 696260

Waterstones is definitely my most favourite bookshop in the area. As most of the stores in the area Waterstones is situated at the Milton Keynes shopping centre. I visit the bookshop at least 3 or 4 times a month since I love reading and it always nice browsing and checking the latest book releases. The staff is very helpful and polite and always willing to help without "atracking" you the second you enter the shop. Waterstones is a definite must visit bookshop.

Excellent book shop. Staff knowledgeable and eager to help

72 Midsummer Blvd, Milton Keynes MK9 3GA, UK – 01908 395384

The cafe here is particularly good, they have a good range of hot and cold drinks that are made to a high standard. They also sell cakes and other treats, in which many are vegan and they gluten free, they are also made by local businesses. The cafe has a good atmosphere and comfortable seating, they also do not play 'drink your coffee and leave quickly' music, hence it is a perfect setting for passing an afternoon with a book. The customer service here is one of the best I have experienced, the staff are chatty, friendly, knowledgeable of any dietary requirements you may have and sometimes recommended books you may like. They also do a deal where if you buy their book of the month you get a free hot drink.

Best book shop. Good deals and has all the books you want, as well as some great staff. It's the only bookshop that you need to use.
